The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Investigations Bureau received updated firearms training from Sgt. E. Kaas of the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau. This firearms training of a perishable skill was received extremely well by the Investigations Bureau. Just by nature of their assignment, Sheriff’s Investigators do not have the routine exposure to in progress calls for service as patrol deputies will encounter on a daily basis. This type of specialized training is imperative for Investigators who come in contact with both armed and unarmed subjects while following up on investigations. While training is important, making split second decisions is essential for everyone in the public and all Law Enforcement.

Today the Moreno Valley Station's Homeless Outreach Team (HOT), assisted by Code Enforcement, conducted a successful clean up of the area of Heacock Street and Ironwood Avenue. The HOT provides and makes resources available to our homeless residents to help them get back up on their feet. During these clean up events, resources are explained to homeless individuals and we are always hopeful they will accept a helping hand. #hot #helpinghand #cleanuptime #christmascleanup
The Moreno Valley Station is currently working a critical incident in the area of Atwood and Heacock. Please avoid the area when possible.
