This bake is a comforting hodgepodge of sweet Italian sausage, hearty eggs, rich cream, nutty Gruyère, and a pound (yes, a pound!) of buttery croissants. It’s got the light, airy texture of a soufflé, with chunks of chewy sausage, flaky pastry, and enough melted cheese to make you swoon. It’s super with a hot cup of coffee, fantastic with bubbly, berry-forward Mumm Napa brut rosé (on special through 12/1/20) and we like adding a side salad and calling it dinner, too.
