~Dog of the Week~ "Kenickie" - Pitbull male Mix KENICKIE IS AVAILABLE FOR RESCUE OR ADOPTION. HE HAS BEEN HERE AWHILE NOW WITH NO INTEREST. ... KENICKIE IS DOING WELL AND WALKING ON THE LEASH. HE ENJOYS BEING OUT IN THE YARD. WHAT A SWEET BOY HE IS! I don’t know what happened to this big fella 189315, but it looks like he’s had a bit of a rough life . He came in as a stray from Beaumont on 5/15 and got sick shortly after. Now that he’s better he’s ready for a new home. The shelter has estimated his age as 4 years old. He was scared when he first came in and he’s still scared to walk on a leash. When we got him outside, he would try to find a spot to hide and wouldn’t move. We had to carry him to the yard. Once he was out there tho', he was fine. Just a happy boy who wouldn’t stop wagging his tail. Poor guy made me so sad to see how he was when we got him out the door. He’s very sweet and seems fine with other dogs along the fence. He will need some work on building his confidence. Please share. This big guy is going to need the right home. He’s available now for adoption . She was found running loose with with Maya and two other dogs who got out of the yard. Apparently, one of the dogs bit someone but they aren’t sure which one it was. Beauty was one of the four and was put on bite quarantine. She is finally done and was evaluated. She is a little scared and will run at first, but she is very sweet. She just needs some time to trust and get to know you. We don’t think she was one of the dogs that bit the person. She is just scared, she doesn’t growl or try and bite you. Beauty loves to sit by you and just be loved. The shelter has estimated her age to be 6 years old, weighing 60 pounds. Beauty is available for adoption or rescue. She deserves a chance!
