Not a lot of people knew we were going to the Netherlands during our two week trip in Europe, and to be honest, I hadn't checked the season dates at Visit Keukenhof before we left...so not a florist move. Once we arrived and learned that we were there the last week the flower fields were open, it was a no brainer that we would visit. . I felt like a kid in a candy shop. They had pavilions filled with flower shows, a theater to watch classes and fields upon fields of fully blo...omed flowers. Everywhere you looked your eyes were overwhelmed with the vibrant colors and the scent from different blooms delighted your nose around every turn - think Disneyland with food, but a park with flowers . Pictures really don't do it justice, but we had fun playing with our Canon and Arsenal - The Intelligent Camera Assistant during our time at Keukenhof...I might have taken like a million photos. Headed into the weekend with a smile This was one of the coolest venues, right in Encinitas. If you haven't checked out Barrels and Branches, it was an awesome little spot for an event. . Mid-week pick-me-up going through photos of trips we've taken this year - this at Keukenhof . My dad taught us this trick with the iPhone. You use panorama, stop at a certain point and you run around the person taking the photo to another spot beyond where the photo is currently at. Pretty cool eh? .
