As we close out Pride month this year we want to uplift an org led by and in support of Black Trans folks. Check out For The Gworls who help folks access transition funds and support with rent. A reminder that we celebrate Pride on the anniversary of the Stonewall uprising. The uprising was led by Black and POC Queer folks fighting back against repression so they could live freely. Scroll down for an URGENT action request from Giniw Collective on the ground in MN . #StopLine3 "Calling all Water Protectors: we need your urgent help! On Monday morning, Hubbard County sheriffs illegally blockaded the driveway to Indigenous-led private property, blocking water protectors from returning to their homes. Police are now arresting water protectors and threatening to enter Namewag camp illegally. We call on Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan & Governor Tim Walz (65...1) 201-3400 to intervene in this unfolding human rights crisis and blatant state repression. Sample script: Hello, my name is _________ and I’m calling on Gov Walz/Lt Gov Flanagan to immediately halt Hubbard County’s escalated and unlawful attacks on private citizens. All people must be allowed in and out of their private property. Stop the blockades and release all arrestees! Shame on Minnesota!" #StopLine3 #waterislife #protectthewildrice #SupportNamewag #warrriors2thefront

By August 31st, Liberty will decide if they keep covering Trans Mountain. Call and give Liberty this critical message: It’s time to get your head out of the tar sands and start insuring our future.

Right now from Giniw Collective: Minnesota police barricading Indigenous water protectors from entering their own private land. Continuing to violate Indigenous treaty rights and support dirty tar sands that will likely poison the water and destroy the climate. "It seems MN doesn’t understand treaty law or US property law." #StopLine3

It is frightening to see that there is a coordinated attack on the climate, the forest, and its people.
