I was truly hoping to be able to remain open and see clients during this time. I thought taking all the right health/safety precautions would still allow me to be available to my clients. Due to this mandatory Shelter in Place order going into effect at midnight tonight through April 7, 2020, it looks like I won't be able to continue running my business during this time. I am beyond sad that I cannot be there to help you all through this super stressful time we are all going... through. As a self employed, small business owner, this will impact my business tremendously. I am hoping to be able to keep my doors open for you all once we are able to resume "as normal". If anyone would still like to try and support my spa business while I'm forced to shut down (as I'm a non-essential business), please let me know. I was thinking I could sell virtual gift cards for future services once we can resume. I do not want to fall into the same predicament with no cash flow once I resume either; so I was hoping the dollar amount of each virtual gift card purchased could go toward future visits until used up. So instead of using the full amount on one visit, we could spread it out over maybe 2-3 visits (depending on the amount). I can accept Venmo payments, and will keep a very good log of who purchases and the amounts that are purchased.
