It seems we have some very talented fans in the LAPD, and we're truly honored This dish in particular was prepared by a sergeant! We just want to thank the brave men and women who are serving in our local law enforcement on the front line and keeping our cities safe. Take care everyone!

Now more than ever, it's important to take care of ourselves and our loved ones. Growing up, our parents had raised us to be independent, and encouraged us to cook for ourselves. So of course, in our household, cooking Quon Yick noodles was one of the first things we learned to make. It was simple: Boil water Boil noodles... Add canned soup Done. Optional: Add frozen vegetables. It's not the most gourmet dish, but to this day I still get excited when I see a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup in my pantry Thank you all for continuing to use Quon Yick Noodles! Long time, no see! Or in Japanese, they say, "!" (Hee-sa-shee-boo-ree). This is a Japanese-inspired cold noodle dish that's great for serving up in the summer! Like some other dishes we've posted before, the sauce is made with Japanese dashi (bonito stock) with a bit of soy sauce and mirin (rice wine) and you can add your favorite veggies and herbs to go along with it! We used grated daikon radish, some daikon sprouts, okra, fried tofu, long onion, shiso (perilla/beefste...ak plant) and some mushrooms that help balance the refreshing ingredients.
