After and before.

This was a 50 gallon water heater to a tankless water heater. The water softener to the left was moved into the space where the old water heater and stand were. Salt softeners do not mix with tank water heater. The salt acts as additional electrolytes and increases decay in the tank. BUT, in tankless the salt has little negative effects. In fact, it's very beneficial to the tankless heat exchanger. This client had a softener but no purification system. We added this to the system to fully treat the water to the whole house.
