Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this position is to source, recruit top talent to ensure that leadership is aware of industry trends... in wage and retention tools. Labor planning for a seasonal business is a key element of ensuring the business is staffed correctly, the Recruiting Specialist is responsible for leading the plan. Skills Recruitment experience 2-4 years, preferably in the warehouse, manufacturing, or 3PL arena Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, behavioral, etc. all legally sound) Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check conducting/processing pre-employment drug tests, etc.) Familiarity/knowledgeable with recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, payroll, etc. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Bi-Lingual Must be able to communicate in Spanish Demonstrates safety consciousness at all times and reports safety questions/concerns. Promotes safety as a business value vs. business priority, through training, focusing, and informing others about company safety practices and procedures. Screening and hiring fit candidates for the open requisitions. Processing pre-employment qualifications for associates to start work. Managing and placing associates out to work. Communicate effectively with clients and associates. Maintains all new hire metrics including fill rates for all open positions. Attends and markets QHL Staffing at job fairs and through community network partnerships. Maintain consistent contact with site managers and hiring managers to anticipate hiring needs. Organizes, designs all ads and marketing material for positions. Manages all external advertising relationships. Works with managers to design and create job descriptions for all new positions, including job scoring the position to establish wage & salary range.
