I did this because when I saw it in my minds eye the image of Queen overflowing with plants brought me so much joy I've learned so much and I feel like live grown a whole lifetime in a week. This was taken of me as we were setting up the Plant shop and Photo Op outside. The front of looked like this and was full of plants for a moment. I had about ten minutes before we opened at 11 and I sat at my desk getting organized. Double checking that all of the sold orders were ...safe and then I was going to swiffer the store and sprtiz the plants and hope that some folks arrived to buy them. When I looked up to grab the swiffer there about 10 or 12 of you outside shopping the plants. The next 45 minutes is a blur of confirming Venmo's and smiling thru my mask and silently praying that I could get to everyone in a timely manner. My apologies if I seemed flustered (I was). I was and still am amazed by what happened. When the dust settled and I looked around there were about 3 or 4 plants left. It was barely noon. The rest of the day I spent apologizing to people showing up wanting plants and doing happy dances with my homies. Thank you to everyone who showed up and a very special thanks to @mumumansion for your guidance, wisdom, shoutouts and dope ass plant backdrop and props. @vizualzen for your encouragement and support always always. For the beautiful flowers and eucalyptus. People were trying to buy it! @skylerduf I managed to hold myself together until you brought the piece. It is sacred to me and I love it so! I can still here your voice and that song saying "receive it" lol! Received! Thank you love you @organicblackberry for being my right hand for the day and for always pushing me to think bigger and believe in myself even more! And for getting champagne and bumping Nipsey as we wrapped the day! Love you thank you! @rebeccabriebrie for taking care of the plant babies until there mommies came and got them and for coming thru with the plant day slay Love you! In an effort to share joy and beauty AND stay in business through a very challenging time, we have pivoted our fashion based business and curated a magical selection of plants and gorgeous pots. This Saturday, May 23 between 11am-5pm we will have this offering available outside of our Retail Store Queen at 5011 W. Pico Boulevard. All shopping will be done curbside and all payments will be processed electronically via Venmo, CashApp or Square invoice as to avoid contact. ...We kindly ask that all guest wear masks, we will as well. We will have sanitizer on site and will be practicing cleaning and sanitizing protocols as well social distancing. If you do join us for the Sale and you see some one shopping please hang back for a little and wait. Keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet or more. As much as I'd love to hug all of you, we aren't there yet. If you have pre paid for your plant babies, they will be inside of the store tagged with you name. I will bring them out to you when you arrive. If you would like me to load them into your car I can. I will be playing outside with the plants all day, misting them and jamming to plant friendly music while helping you all with your plant adoptions from a safe distance. Me: I'm selling plants next week. Them: (confused look) ... why? Me: Becauseitmakesmehappy ... I know it's not Mothers Day anymore. I know I'm not a Botanist. I know it doesn't "make sense" to a lot of people. Also, I don't care. For my own self care and mental health I need to do things that bring me joy. Hopefully that joy can be transferred to others thru this offering. If I have found ways to keep making money and stay fresh during a global pandemic when mostly all of our "normal" supply chains for fashion retail have been disrupted, well good for me Just trying to stay healthy & sane & abundant and growing. Plants represent life & growth and they provide all kinds of benefits to us humans. This Plant Shop Installation is an act of love and gratitude. For myself, Mother Nature and for you, the Community.

Plants are now available for pre order. Check the stories for instructions. These gorgeous Mexican Clay Pots that I am obsessed with are also available. I bought almost every plant in pairs so that... they wouldn't be lonely. It's sort of like I'm fostering al these plant babies until you guys come and adopt them. If you break up the pairs I won't make you feel guilty These are Indian Rubber Plants and are great for purifying the air and beautifying you're space. However, if you a cat do not buy this plant as it is said to be toxic to cats if they ingest the plant. see you Saturday!
