San Diego, we know you love helping the community as much as we love sharing our favorite brews with you! It’s time to come together as we help raise awareness for one of the most prominent diseases in the country. It’s likely that you know someone who has been affected by Alzheimer’s. More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. In San Diego County, there are more than 60,000 people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias and more than ...180,000 family members and friends caring for them. The Longest Day is held on the day with the most light the summer solstice, June 20. On The Longest Day, thousands of participants across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through an activity of their choice biking, hiking, playing bridge, swimming, knitting and more. Participants raise critical awareness and funds to advance Alzheimer’s Association care, support and research programs. We’ll be honoring those who have been impacted by Alzheimer’s this Saturday, June 12th, with live outdoor music from @3cargarageband from 7-10PM.
