Dear Students, The good news is that San Diego is having fewer COVID 19 cases. If we continue to do well for 14 days, we can begin planning for session 6 to be a hybrid model. So this would allow you to be part online and part on-campus. However, the county must remain at normal levels for 14 days before we can consider planning for reopening. We are in contact with the county health department for guidance and monitor the situation daily. We are working hard to create the... safest environment possible for you. Expect to receive more detailed information on our school and check your announcements, e-mail, and Instagram often. Thank you for your patience as we begin this new world together. Stay positive! I know with all changes something new grows- that is exciting too! Please know that the staff and instructors have also been working to continually improve your online experience. Instructors are learning new ways to engage you during video conferences and your online learning time. The new guidelines and policies being implemented are to help you be more successful. We urge you to also remain committed to your education even though it may be very difficult. We are impressed by the hard work you are putting in this session. Please continue to get to class on time and complete all assignments. Using your camera and microphone is how we follow regulations to verify your online identity, AND it’s the best way to stay engaged and get the most out of the class. Reach out to your instructors for support. Reach out to the administration for help if you are struggling. Times are hard, but we can do hard things. Please feel free to contact us anytime.
