We're seeking a qualified General Manager, a Sales Representative and a Barre Instructor. Here's a little bit more about each position... General Managers lead the community, instructors and salespeople they're responsible for to promote the growth of that studio's community, create a welcoming atmosphere, provide a world-class fitness experience and are eager to grow in leadership, sales, sales training and management skills. Sales Representatives focus on driving sales and service excellence to expand our Pure Barre community. This is the perfect opportunity to interact with clients on a daily basis and help create a supportive and meaningful community! The purpose of the Sales Representative is to assist the General Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio, building a relationship, providing a positive experience, and successfully moving them through the sales process to a membership sale. The Sales Representative also assists with retaining and providing unmated customer service to current members. Instructors lead Barre classes, have a background in group fitness or dance and love helping people achieve their goals. The best applicants will be outgoing, already have experience teaching for Pure Barre or be willing to get certified and are interested in teaching 5+ classes per week. Boutique fitness knowledge or experience is preferred, but not required. Salespeople and instructors are generally part time. The General Manager role is a full time position position that requires availability to work a rotating, weekend morning shift. REQUIREMENTS: Warm welcoming and engaging personality Ability to build strong customer relationships Self-motivated and takes initiate Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system Must be have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Must have proficient computer skills Authorization to work in the United States required COMPENSATION & PERKS: These positions offer a very competitive base rate Commission paid on sales Huge opportunities for growth within the studios including additional sales, lead teacher and management positions Free unlimited membership to all Pure Barre San Diego locations Employee family member membership discounts Employee Retail Discounts

Owner Katy Homyk dishes on Pure Barre and being a new momma! For years I sold a package called Baby Bounce Back, it wasn’t until I became a mom that I realized what a sham that was. Not that I don’t 100% believe Pure Barre is the perfect exercise for postpartum women (or all women for that matter!) but because let’s be honest, there is no back. Motherhood changes you not only physically, but emotionally. Of course this isn’t groundbreaking news, but for me it was a huge r...eality check. I was in the best shape of my life before getting pregnant, I completed a Whole 30 challenge at 16 weeks, launched Pure Empower at 32 weeks and taught 3 classes 12 hours before my water broke. I thought I had done everything to prepare my body for the roller coaster that was about to happen. However, I had done very little to prepare my heart and mind. I was back teaching almost immediately, trying to run a business and motivate other women to be their best selves when I could barely get out of bed in the morning. 19 months later I am FINALLY coming out of the haze that is the baby blues. Okay, for me it was more like a dark black hole, but that is whole other story. During the past year and half, Pure Barre has taken on different meaning for me - no longer is it just the shake and burn I crave it is the mental challenge and freedom. Now when I am trying to brush my teeth while simultaneously holding down the toilet lid and singing twinkly twinkle little star, I know there is at least 50 minutes of my day that are just for me. 50 minutes where I can stop worrying about giving him too much sugar or if he is getting enough sleep or did I pick the right daycare - it’s just me, the barre and the beat of the music. Before baby, I thought oh you will bounce right back! You teach fitness for a living! However, each class has been a fight, a struggle, and a humbling experience of going back to the beginning over and over again. (I think I just found my lower abs again!) While I am still working through some postpartum loveliness I don’t think i could have gotten this far without Pure Barre and all the other kick ass moms who show up day in and day out. I wanted to open a studio to inspire other women, but the community of women we have in our studio is what has kept me going. While my jeans may never fit the same and my leg may not go as high, I am stronger than ever. I am Mom strong and I couldn’t be prouder. So here is to all the moms who aren’t looking back, but moving forward one tuck at a time. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
