Pueblo Nuevo Crew and Word To Your Motherland travelled to North Vancouver to collaborate with the North Shore Housing Center, bringing together 4 international artists to create a new mural on its fascade. Nisha K. Sembi of Kalakari + Miguel-Angel Mondragon-Ayala Bounce-Perez + Mandeep Peace travelled from Cali to link with Creativa International Take5 and Corey Bulpitt in Van City and create a beautiful piece of work that represents the indigenous and native energy of that land. Greetings all! Last Fall, Pueblo Nuevo artists Miguel-Angel Mondragon-Ayala Bounce-Perez and Nisha K. Sembi teamed up with Vancouver artists Corey Bulpitt and Take5 to paint a 90 foot "Word to Your Motherland" mural on the facade of Northshore Lookout Shelter, while Mandeep Peace filmed the whole experience. The Latino Teaching Artist Fellowship, for spanish speaking artist, and the Blau-Gold Studio/Teaching Fellowship open to all artist.
