Volunteers Needed for PTSD Research Study If you served in Iraq or Afghanistan, you may be eligible to participate in a new study focusing on PTSD treatment. Veteran Affairs (VA) seeks participants with trauma exposure related to combat experience for a 9 week research study involving exposure therapy (Virtual Reality or Imaginal Exposure) in combination with either a low dose of D-Cycloserine (DCS) or a sugar pill placebo to be taken once a week during exposure sessions. Participants will be allowed to test new intervention therapies for free, and all non-active military personnel will receive compensation for post-treatment assessments. Active duty military will select a charity to which their compensation money will be donated. Contact: Veteran Affairs (VA) - Long Beach Healthcare System 562-826-5784.
