Due to the Bay Area "shelter in place" mandate, we will be suspending non-essential services starting March 17, 2020 for the next two weeks to help contain the spread of COVID-19. The "shelter in place" order directs all residents to stay inside their homes and away from others as much as possible to curb the rapid spread of COVID-19. Included in this directive are routine medical appointments. We regret the inconvenience of rescheduling your appointments at this time. Your ...flexibility and patience are much appreciated. Our office will be open for limited hours (9am-1pm on 3/17, and then 9am-11am until Fri 3/20) for the following services: 1) Medical eye emergencies (with appointment only, no walk ins.) 2) Dispensing of current glasses or contact lens orders. There will be no courtesy frame adjustments at this time. 3) Phone and text services 4) Direct shipping of contact lens (text or call 510-235-5228 to order.) We will extend prescriptions expiring within the next 2 months. We highly encourage those needing contact lenses to order ASAP, as we cannot predict the availability of stock in the next few months. Some personal thoughts: As a medical office and a small business, the decision to limit services was made with a heavy heart. Today, 1/20/2020, we are excited to announce our 20/20 initiative for this extra special 2020 year! ** On the 20th day of every month, we will be randomly drawing a name of someone who has been in our office for a visit in the past month. That person will get a FREE pair of sunglasses (because their future is so bright!)
