PSAR members recently gathered in Downtown La Mesa to plant trees and shrubs at a vacant parcel where a historic building once stood that was destroyed by rioters during racial protests in May. Hard costs, including plants, shovels, and work gloves, were provided by a Community Rebuilding Grant from the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) as part of NAR’s Urban Initiative, which includes funding to assist urban areas in addresses challenges in their communities. PSAR has ...supported efforts to revitalize and repair damages in the City of La Mesa in the wake of recent racial injustice demonstrations. PSAR also is committed to championing policies that build safe and inclusive communities. Participating in the project are PSAR CEO, Richard D'Ascoli, La Mesa City Councilmember Kristine C.
