Provost and Pritchard worked with Tulare County to develop a comprehensive dataset and interactive online GIS StoryMap to assess the water needs of communities in the Tulare Lake Basin (Tulare, Kern, Kings and most of Fresno County). The work was funded through a Proposition 1 Disadvantaged Community Involvement Grant, and included input from Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) groups, disadvantaged community representatives, and assistance from Self-Help Enterprises. The online StoryMap is a spatial data tool that dynamically integrates information from multiple sources with a custom communities-based dataset. Query tools and reports can summarize the data by County or IRWM region.

We are pleased to welcome our newest Interns to the P&P team! Shasta Banchio will be in our Chico office. She is currently on track to graduate from the Cal Poly BioResource and Agricultural Engineering Department (BRAE Program) in 2021. A native of Riverdale, Johnathan Sanchez is also enrolled in the BRAE program at Cal Poly SLO and will work in our Clovis office. He’s scheduled to graduate in December 2020.... Nick Austin, who also attends Cal Poly where he will graduate from the BRAE program with a minor in Agribusiness in December, will work out of our Visalia office. Welcome!
