The issues surround the current moratorium on evictions is a MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM than just collecting the rent. - When there is NO ENFORCEMENT of contracts, then ANYTHING GOES - tenants don't have to pay rent, they don't have to move out at the end of their lease, they don't have to let the owner move back into the property, they don't have to care for the property. Quite frankly, they can do anything they want, because our judges and courts are no longer honoring contracts b...etween citizens. This is NOT grace. This is foolishness. Please don't confuse the two. NO RULE OF LAW...NO ENFORCEMENT OF CONTRACTS...leads to NO CIVIL ORDER. When the elected governors/judges/courts will not enforce contractual agreements, citizens are forced into the ugly position of having to take enforcement into their own hands. This is very sad, indeed. Our civilization is reduced to brute force; in other words, this is the breakdown of civil order. When judges and courts refuse to support your property rights...those property rights don't just go away. You have to find another way to exercise and enforce your rights.
