Happy Labor Day to everyone! It's a great day to reflect on the solidarity that unions and laborers can achieve. And speaking of solidarity, our humble event is coming this Saturday and Sunday! We hope that you've invited your family-by-choice and family-by-blood. This isn't just a regular pride event. ... Our goal is to show queer culture not just to ourselves but to our straight loved ones. And due to the nature of the Fair itself, straights will probably outnumber us every time at this event, so let's use this as an opportunity to reach out and open people's eyes! Our daily stresses and world headlines may be draining, so let's counteract that and refill our wells with intentional gathering and spreading of love! Yes, we'll have community groups and entertainment and fun things, but YOU are the star of this event. The LA County Fair opens today!
