We at Protective Science Dynamics grieve the loss of LASD Sergeant Steve Owen of Lancaster Station. Many of our volunteers were acquainted with Sgt. Owen and his selfless devotion to the betterment of the community. This is a great loss not just for his family, who we send our thoughts and prayers to for support, but the entire community at large. We join our community in mourning the passing of one of our heroes.

We had to lessen our apparent activities in the community for a little while while we worked on some of the core service needs for the Reentry Project that could not be handled by any other organizations in the Project. We have been successfully progressing in putting those together and anticipate being able to resume the Project Member Meetings very soon!

In this time of giving, especially leading up to the possible fiscal cliff, we would like to remind folks that we have lost a significant funding source this year while taking on a new responsibility assisting the training of people to get them off of welfare and into self-sustaining employment. this means, simply put, that we need money! Please consider us in your year end charitable contributions and graciously give what you can to help. Thank you!
