Help us reach Africa in 2018 - www.protechnet.org/africa ProTech Network is a small nonprofit organization based in Fresno California. A few years ago we recognized that there were a lot of surplus computers in the community and that there were many people and organizations who needed but could not afford computers like these. We began refurbishing donated computers to give them back into the community where they could still be used. Over the past five years we've given way m...ore than five hundred computers to groups and individuals in need and we've reached areas as far away as the Congo, Romania, Mexico, Jamaica, and Central America. We've now expanded our services to include training and website development as well as hosting. On May 31st we're starting something new. we're going to travel to Africa beginning in the Congo with Dr. Nzash Lumeya to develop relationships and build training programs. After the Congo with your help we can continue this effort in Ethiopia and Zambia. These programs will continue long after we leave, and the relationships we build will develop over the Internet. We want to empower people to develop skills for change, to build and encourage positive ongoing relationships which will span the globe. As you know travel isn't cheap so we can't afford to do this without your help. These wonderful people have been challenged by circumstances beyond their control and they've been deprived of technology most of us take for granted. Will you help us make a difference in their lives? We have a surplus of education and equipment which we can share with them.
