We did it! We met our July 15th tax filing deadline We have a great staff who make our work so much more efficient. I want to give a big shoutout to the 4 awes...ome ladies on our support team who helped us navigate through the challenges of running a business under the Covid-19 mandates. These ladies are the voice of Protax who manage all documentation, phone calls, emails, signatures, payments & so much more for our business! Meet KRISTY (L) & CHANTEL (R). Who were able to stay on with us through the extended season. They knocked it out of the park with their excellent client service!

Hello clients! Well I’m sure we can all agree that 2020 will be unforgettable! There are a few things we would like to say: 1) Regarding COVID-19, we hope & pray that your families are safe & remain healthy. ... 2) Congratulations to the class of 2020! 3) Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere MLK 4) Lets practice moving forward for peace & understanding. We need to get this right. 5) It’s time to finish taxes! July 15 is the due date. We have begun taking appointments in person. We will continue to practice social distancing, & our guest chairs will be stationed 7 ft away from the preparer. Masks will be required for staff & clients & we will be sanitizing after each appointment. We ask that you do not bring in guests or children with your appointment. The state of California has officially extended their filing date to to follow federal guidelines. Both the IRS and state of CA Franchise Tax Board, are open to process returns, refunds & phone calls only. Their public offices are closed.

To our valued clients, The health and safety of our clients & staff is very important to us. We have made the decision to immediately stop taking In Person appointments.... We feel this is the best way to minimize exposure to protect our clients and ourselves. After all, we can’t help you If we are exposed and have to quarantine. Our staff have already called clients that have existing appointments through Saturday. We will continue calling today and will reach out to each and every client who is booked with us through April. WE HAVE A GAME PLAN! We are asking our clients to drop off their paperwork, (we have a table set up in the reception area ready) mail us their paperwork, email us their paperwork, or fax us their paperwork. For most people, the technology we have available has made this process an easier transition. Frank & I will be working our normal tax season hours from 9am-8pm. We will even continue to wear our business clothes! Once we have received your documents, our staff will reach out to you to confirm receipt. Once we have started processing your taxes, WE WILL REACH OUT TO YOU IF WE SEE YOU ARE MISSING ANYTHING. After we have completed your tax return, we will call you to discuss all the details of your return, as if you were sitting in our office! For those of you who don’t have a scanner, we just learned something new about our phones from our son Eddie, yesterday. If you open up the NOTES on your phone, there is an option to SCAN DOCUMENTS. This would be a great tool to scan your documents & email them to us. If we can help in anyway, please reach out to us, & we will do everything humanly possible to meet your tax needs!
