It is important for patients with schizophrenia to take antipsychotic medication as prescribed to keep schizophrenia symptoms under control. However, many patients may not take antipsychotic medication as directed by their doctor. This may make it difficult for doctors to help patients. We are researching an investigational drug-device combination designed to track when someone has taken their antipsychotic medication. This could potentially help doctors to monitor treatment... compliance. If you are 1865 years of age, have been diagnosed with schizophrenia and have been taking antipsychotic medication for 6 months or longer, and own an activated smartphone (mobile phone, cell phone), then you might be able to take part.
