We have a couple new additions to our family here at Professional Auto Repair...our birds are back and there are eggs in the nest!

Here's the friendly tip of the day: brakes help you stop but good shocks and struts help you stop sooner. Hope everybody had a fantastic Christmas and a terrific New Years!

Today's friendly tip is: experts recommend replacing your shocks at 50,000 miles so that your tires will last longer. Also, it helps with a smoother ride and better handling :)

Today's tip of the day: your timing belt is a maintenance that you should never overlook. According to maufaturers' recommendations, it should be replaced between 60-90 thousand miles, depending on the make and model of your car. Failure to do so could result in a very expensive repair.

Here's your friendly tip for the day: to avoid expensive repairs, make sure you do your oil/flter change ever 3,000 miles. After 3,000 miles you lose the lubrication properties of the oil and that creates friction in the motor. Be good to your car and your car will be good to you :)

Alright, folks, here's today's tip: belts and hoses are supposed to be replaced every 4 years. Preventive maintenance such as these spares you from a lot of headaches and expensive repairs to your car down the road.

Be sure and check your tire pressure regularly...if your pressure's low, it tends to use up your gas quicker, and with these outrageous gas prices, who doesn't want to conserve gas?? Just another friendly reminder from us here at the shop! :)

Keeping track of your gas milage is a great way to make sure your car is up to par. If your gas tank is emptying faster than usual it means something's not working right. This has been a helpful hint from our resident Master Tech ecause we're here to help!
