Scholarship deadline is March 1st! If you are interested in attending The Professional Culinary Institute for the part-time evening Culinary or Baking program between Jul 1 2011 and June 30 2012 there are some 5k scholarships available through the Culinary Trust. If you are a PCI student or graduate there will be a special guest chef demonstration with Marc Bauer of The French Culinary Institute in the demo kitchen on February 9th from 12:30 to 2:00pm. The Open House on Wednesday February 9th will feature a cooking demonstartion by Chef Marc Bauer of The French Culinary Institute of New York. He will demonstrate a garlic soup with rock shrimp and pesto followed by a mango, apple tarte tatin with coconut, lime sorbet. The event begins promptly at 6pm. This Saturday, February 5th we are featuring a class on pizza making with Chef Tomm Johnson. He will teach you how to create classic thin and thick crusted pizzas, as well as how to spice things up with exotic toppings. There are a limited number of seats available. Call 408-370-9190 to register.
