Hi everyone. It was 5 years ago today when our community burned in the Valley Fire. When we created this project in response to that devastating day, we had no ...idea that our community loss and devastation was going to be just the beginning of what so many other communities have suffered since, due to wildfire. Our hearts break for those new communities who now have joined the long list of communities which have been reduced to ash and rubble! On the brighter side, I see the resilience of people, of their support and love for one another, as we commemorate this day. We hope we can continue to shed a beacon of hope for wildfire survivors! To date, we have collected and distributed approximately 2,500 trees to wildfire survivors, thanks to the generosity of some many givers! Thank you to everyone who has made this project a success!
