You are invited! Hola Amigos! You may or may not have heard, but recently one of our beloved staff members and friend, Marissa, has started a brave battle with breast cancer. As you can imagine, this was a shock, and quite eye-opening. Although Mariss is looking at this square in the face with positivity, we cannot help but spring into action on her behalf to fight as well. We all know that the cost of cancer is very high. Thankfully, she has a tremendous support group. Howe...ver, there is still much work in the trenches to be done. So, with that being said, what are you doing Sunday? How about you come get spoiled with beauty on behalf of a great cause? The staff at Shanghai Salon along with Dear Industry an few others will be coming together and offering : *Blow drys/braids/styling *Makeup application/consultation *Brows/lash tinting *Soothing yoga/meditation practice *Refreshments *Swag *Giveaways ......all (every attendee receives one each) for $35!!! Friends, ladies,( and gentleman that may know a deserving wife, mom, daughter, friend, barista , teacher...) I would really love to make this event a success. There are only 20 spots available. Please use the link at the bottom to reserve your ticket. Let's kick off Summer with some good! Hope to see you there, Sara Check out our event on Sunday, May 20, 2018.

Just finished the Tess Giberson show with my new favorite lead stylist James Pecis. The look was flowy, ethereal, with a hint of textures braids. Go to Style.com for more!

"Fall Blonding" is what you get when you know the seasons are on their way to change and you are too. Meet Sara, a teen I adore who has almost been every color in the spectrum. Most people will ask for the general "Low lighting" or go full on all over color. However I have come to understand the delicate nature of change especially for blondes. With Sara we decided to keep some of her bright pieces but overall warm it up with honey tones. The result? Shiny, refreshed and yes, still blonde:)
