Antibody blood testing for COVID-19 is available now. But please understand 3 things as this test is expensive ($199)-insurance doesn’t cover it yet and can’t guarantee reimbursement despite government saying they will 1. Having antibodies to the corona virus may not mean you are now immune to it as cases are reappearing in people previously exposed. It’s still too early to tell what this means. 2. It takes 5-7 days for antibodies to appear so a negative test doesn’t mean you didn’t/don’t have it 3.
