Today we remember Whisper. PMR spotted this lame mare. We knew she’d be scooped up and turned into a baby machine. Her sweetness snd stunning looks made her ext...remely vulnerable . We pulled her and Beth in Colorado stepped up to foster her. And,... she became a foster fail !! . Whisper was then provided the best medical care and love. It was discover she had suffered an untreated stifle problem years ago.. she was managing a lot of pain for an unfixable old injury. The pain meds began to become ineffective and Willow started to refuse them all together. It was time for her to cross. PMR is grateful to have removed her from a possible horrific life of pain, abuse And a million pregnancies OR slaughter . And we are over the moon thankful for Beth . If all horse owners were Like Beth, ah, the world would be a kinder gentler place. Rest & Run in peace Willow. God Speed. See more
