I was looking at what's commonly understood under "translation and localization services", and end-up with a feeling that "localization" part is usually (or almost always) missing in those services. Besides a very narrow field of health-reated quality of life (patient outcome measures), no one actually provides "localization". Is that true?

Looking for Project Coordinator, Medical reviewer and consultant for linguistic validation projects in Czech republic. Our company specializes in linguistic validation of Quality of Life questionnaires. Linguistic validation is an elaborated process, consisting of several consecutive steps: forward translation (2 translators), back-translation (usually 1 translator), patient testing (if applicable), review by the medical professional (if applicable) and proof-reading. The goal of patient testing is to verify the quality and clarity of the translation; we do not collect any clinical data.
