In honor of National Women’s Month and today’s National Women’s Day, we invite you to join in with us to celebrate our founder Lesley deLone, a loving mother, daughter, sister, friend and wife. We honor her for her nurturing spirit, determination, patience, intuitiveness, and vigor to navigate a tough situation and make it better. Because of Lesley, along with our board and donors, Prader-Willi Homes of California (formerly the Richard deLone Special Housing Project) will b...e making an important announcement in the next month. When it came to developing the program and funding it there was no mountain Lesley couldn't climb. Everest? No problem! The tenacity, love and commitment to Richie and the musical crew that Lesley and Austin enlisted was the selling point for their first ever fundraiser. I gave my venue to host and to date the shows have become a hot ticket and one the community looks forward to, says Dawn Holliday friend and longstanding member of the advisory committee.
