Brandon is a milt. vet and was adamant about using his special vet financing. VA financing is not attractive to a seller because the seller will have to agree to pay the closing costs. In a seller's market, a seller can usually find a buyer... Willing to pay their own closing cost. We got creative. See more

Deon had amazing credit. He wanted to buy a house but got turned down for a loan. His wife’s credit was only 550. We could’ve given up. Deon is now a homeowner. We just had to be a little creative.... We had to get his wife Fico up to a 640. We had a month to get it done. We looked at Deon’s wife’s credit. Low and behold there were things that didn’t belong to her. We put together an ID theft and police report. Then sent the package to the credit bureaus. Deon’s wife came out with a 750 Fico!

Lift before lift-off! It’s easy to make an excuse about why you can work out. I was heading out to Miami for the weekend. The workout before the flight was more of a mental thing. Sort of like when you clean up your house before going vacay,... The sense of accomplishment that you feel in the end is priceless. Now it’s off to watch my son play in a tournament in Miami!

Living Dreams Did you ever have a dream car growing up? I did. My dream car was a 911 Porsche! I love to drive on the weekends to get some fun in the sun. ... It’s also a reminder to myself. With a little stick to it-ness, any dream can be realized.

Last April I ended up canceling my 24 Hour Fitness gym membership. This time it was due to Covid-19, not my laziness lol. Hanging out in the house daily and watching ... Netflix got old quick. My 16 year old son rarely left the sight of his PS4. The gyms were closed and cabin fever was beginning to set in. So I went to offer up and met a guy about 30 miles out and bought a home gym weight set. This gave my son and me a reason to get out of the house. He was training for his sports season that had been canceled. I just Wanted to stay in some kind of shape. We started lifting weights and running around The neighborhood together during the quarantine. We actually spent more time together and spoke more than we have in the last year or two. We might not eat at the table together for dinner but We would meet in the garage daily in the evenings To workout. Canceling my gym membership lead to consistently working out at home. It also leads to spending a few hours a day talking to my son. Who would have thought that canceling the gym would bring me and the kid closer together?

The last week of November 2020, I had a member of my contacts list reach out to me. She wanted to sell her investment property. This kind of touched me because this was my first listing ever... 15 years ago in 2005. I had met Dorothy & her husband Charles Smith (now deceased) door-knocking expired listings! Charles was hostile, Dorothy was not and convinced Charles to take a chance on the rookie version of me. I had no clue what I was doing. The property again would be an expired listing. One thing that I did do right was keeping in contact with the Smiths. I kept in contact with Dorothy over the years. I soon learned that not only in business but in life relationships are everything. The rookie me would have never known. I had made life long friends. All from a random visit. Ironically, now we are currently in escrow with the same investment property and two other properties. In my first few years in business, I was all business with little to no focus on my personal relationships. Thank god that I finally came around. I realize that my family and friends however they come, mean the world to me.
