You are outgoing, self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a professional appearance and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. You will: - Greet and check-in guests with our digital system as they arrive - Perform nail care services including manicures, pedicures, foot treatments, polish, soft gel, dip powder (no acrylics), and basic nail art - Answer client questions and recommend services based on their needs - Recommend Powder brand products to clients - Arrive promptly for appointments and perform services within the allotted time - Ensure each client receives a consistently impeccable, memorable, and hygienic experience - Ensure the upkeep of treatment spaces and rooms per requirements Your skills: - At least 1 year of professional experience - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends preferred - Must hold and maintain a California manicurist or cosmetology license - Work authorization in the U.S. - Conversational English-speaking skills - Ability to lift 25 lbs - Willingness to continue education and stay in the know on new treatments and advancements - Knowledge and experience in performing a range of nail designs and techniques while following protocols - Strong communication and client service skills - Ability to work without direct supervision Bonus if you have: - Experience with dip powder, nail art, and/or Apres Gel-X Extensions Be part of something that you can feel good about -- inside and out! To our valued clients, It has officially been two weeks since we temporarily closed Powder's doors. Every 2 to 3 weeks we were lucky enough to spend time with each of you, so today marks a sad moment because we miss you all. There is no firm date we can provide as to when we will reopen (unofficially May 1st). What we can assure you is that when we do, it will be one we can all feel comfortable with. For now, all appointments through April 30th will be automatically canceled.... As a business, it is our responsibility to make decisions that hold the health of our clients and staff in the highest regard, so out of an abundance of caution, we will only reopen our doors when advised to do so- When we do, we will operate with the highest levels of sanitation and with less clientele at one time to adhere to the recommended physical distancing measures. This new reality is scary, and when we try to wrap our heads around the breadth of what's going on in the world, nails, facials and waxing seem so minor. This has been and will continue to be a time for us all to practice self care of the soul. That's because what's most important right now is that each and every one of us does our part to combat this in whatever form that might take for you. We suggest you love one another and take care of those who've been directly affected, find joy in the small things, be kind, do as much good as possible during this time, and carry those loving hearts with you as we move forward, because we will.
