PHS PTA's Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life. Each year, PHS students are invited to create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. Calling all students and staff! Our True Titan nominations for Tri 1 are open. Look for a link to the submission form on the PTSA website (link in bio). Anyone can nominate someone who demonstrates outstanding attitude, participation, contribution, or demeanor. Students can nominate each other or staff and staff can nominate students or other staff members. Show your appreciation for those who make PHS great!

Each year the PHS PTSA awards scholarships to senior PTSA members who are chosen based on their school, community, and PTSA service! Here are 2020 seniors Kaitlyn Burg and Lexie Roche. Spotlight on Titan Recognition Program! True Titansa collaborative program administered by PTSA with student led help from ASB and Peer Counseling that recognizes PHS students and staff as True Titans for their outstanding character. To date hundreds of True Titans have been recognized and celebrated amongst their peers. Staff and students can submit nominations when the nominating tool is opened! Spotlight on...Eye on Art! This PHS PTSA sponsored program is a school wide event that recognizes the accomplishments of PHS students in all fine arts including studio art, music, ceramics, graphic design, and photography. We are still looking for members! This week we will be spotlighting some of our programs so you can see where your membership and donations go. Link in bio! Senior Titan Ambassadors are responsible for bringing the exemplary character traits of Titans down to our feeder elementary schools. Their engaging and entertaining assemblies have been enjoyed by local elementary school kids for years. Titan Ambassadors are selected from nominations from their teachers based on their strong academics, leadership, ethics, and activities. Ambassadors take on this volunteer responsibility in addition to their regular course load while balancing SATs, ACTs, and college applications! #phsptsa

Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year! With a new school year comes a new year of PTSA programs offered to all PHS students, teachers, and staff. The annual membership and donation drive directly supports PHS students through funding PTSA programs. Despite the continued uncertainty resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, your PTSA will continue to plan and provide our traditional student and campus activities and are committed to fostering a strong school-home connection, b...ut we need your support! The PHS PTSA funds programs in the arts, college preparation, social and emotional needs, as well as ongoing assistance to the amazing PHS teachers and staff. Join us in giving our Titans the very best in 2020-2021! Memberships are $15 per person and are offered to anyone interested in supporting PHSparents, teachers, staff, students, grandparents, etc. In order to carry out our programs like library grants, teacher support, scholarships, recognition program, Grad Night, and Reflections we are asking for a donation of $25 per student.
