The forever question, how do i start an art collection? To which I answer, BUY ART YOU LOVE. Zero rules. I’ve been working with this client since 2014. Three gallery walls later in two different homes, we’ve adjusted, added, deleted and reframed. The one consistent thing is her ridiculously amazing collection! I have sat down maybe 172 times to post something in the last 3 months and been interrupted, distracted, discouraged or a plethora of other excuses, not to post. The struggle has been REAL. Pictured above is me; owner, operator, founder, whatever. That beer on the side, is also mine (see action shot in stories). Here schlepping prints home because the building that our studio is in, has been shut down since March 15 therefore I take the shipments home with me every day in ord...er for our shipping carriers to be able to pick up from us. This is a very real photo of what every day around 8pm has looked like since March. Stretch pants, bad hair, exhaustion and my family waiting for me to be a mom, wife and whatever else is needed of me. With everyday presenting a new series of challenges I am reminded how exceptionally fortunate I am to have shipments to pack, emails to respond to and people that need me (thank you @n.k.bowers)!!! I think it’s important to stay connected during this (insane) time we are living in and I will do better to check in more often.
