Thank you to Port of Stockton tenant Marathon Petroleum Company for awarding the Port of Stockton Police Department one of their annual Public Safety Grants. The Port PD applied for and was awarded $2,500 to purchase new personal flotation vests and water rescue throw bags for the Port PD Boat Unit. The life vests and throw bags were presented by Marathon Petroleum Company, Stockton Terminal Manager Sal Rodriguez and Marathon Government Affairs representative Nichol Carranza.
The Port of Stockton is importing some MASSIVE wind turbine blades from India! This heavy duty infrastructure will help contribute to the generation of clean, renewable energy. Measuring a whopping 67 meters or 219.82 feet long! These are the longest blades to hit the West Coast, and we are proud to be a part of the sustainable supply chain making it all possible. #StocktonPort #WestCoastBulkPort #windturbine #Windmills #renewableenergy #windenergy #greenenergy #renewableimports #greenport #greenmarine #ecofriendlyshipments #greeneconomy #blueeconomy #stocktoncargo #stocktonimports #shipcam #vessels #cargo #highandheavy
