Astrophytum Ornatums can appear to be of different colors on the same plant! This yellow flower opened the day I took these photos, while the pinkish one opened the day before. Get the right timing and it will appear as though the plant has produced two different color blooms! Eventually, the color of the newly opened yellow flower, will gradually shift to pink within a day or so.
