It time for Christmas Shopping! Although it is only September, it is time to start thinking about Christmas Gifts. Ponderosa Ranch Outfitters has many to choose from, but the most popular in the small gift category are the Historic Buffalo Nickel Collection and the Timeline of the Old West. Both are educational gifts, cleverly disguised as beautiful, authentic western decor.

This historic, framed, complete Buffalo Nickel Collection is a beautiful wall decoration that helps tell the story of the Spirit of the West in a beautiful way. The Buffalo nickel or Indian Head nickel was a popular five-cent piece struck by the United States Mint from 1913 to 1938, with a nickel from each year of minting displayed. The Buffalo Nickel was designed by sculptor James Earle Fraser, the same sculptor famous for his creation, the End of the Trail. A perfect Christmas gift for that Western Enthusiast in your life. http://ponderosaranchoutfitters.com//historic-buffalo-nic/

Happy New Year 2019! I’m delighted to announce that today you’ll start to see a series of new videos from Ponderosa Ranch Outfitters with fascinating stories behind many of our products. The beginning of the series is the first installment of Tales from the Timeline of the Old West: The American Expansion Westward, Part 1: EXPLORATION. Following there will be three more on The American Expansion Westward, all of which have emerged from our extensive research for the Timel...ine. Others videos such as the Historic Buffalo Nickel Collection and The Greatest Entrepreneur of the Old West, The Greatest Inventions of the Old West are in development. We have been working very hard on both the content of these old west materials as well as our video capabilities. We have brought on a video professional from Penn State and have invested in better sound fidelity than we had in the early, echo chamber videos. Please check them out on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/results and let us know what you think. See more
