UPDATE: we are still not open yet and not sure when we’ll be allowed to reopen. We received an email notice from @cabarbercosmo this afternoon stating that salons located in counties in tiers 2-4 are allowed to reopen indoors with modifications. Unfortunately, the Sacramento County is still in tier 1, meaning the risk level is widespread. To all who have been curious why we aren’t offering outdoor services despite being given the okay to operate outdoors: we aren’t able to provide the same quality of service to our clients that they deserve while being in compliance with the CA Board of Barbering & Cosmetology, CDC, and OSHA. It’s getting difficult to stay optimistic about our future as a small, family-owned business when there’s so much uncertainty in the world right now. We wish we could do something to reopen quickly, but we can’t risk the health of our clients, staff, and families. So please wear a mask, follow social distancing guidelines, and encourage your family/friends to do the same.

As of earlier today, the state of California has instructed the close of nail salons in the 31 counties, including Sacramento County. Although this news is extremely disappointing and frustrating but we are following the order of the Governor to keep our clients and staff safe. In addition, there is no date to when we can reopen again. We hope that when we return the next time, its for good. For now, please stay clean and follow safety guidelines. By limiting time spent in our salon, we are reducing the amount of contact with surfaces, our staff, and other clients (yes, this means you will have to book two appointments on different days for a manicure and pedicure).
