I’ve always been a fan of USGI 2qt canteens, so our next new Pocket will be a Wide Wai Pocket designed specifically for the 2qt! It will be the exactly like our Wai Bottle Pocket, but sized to fit a 2qt! You’ll be able to run it on the waistbelt or a pack and will use 4 channels of PALS! Here is the old Kifaru 2qt Pocket that I designed years ago that is zippered opening with bungee zipper pulls that you pull over the neck of the 2qt, and also has a vertical compression strap...much too busy, so our new Wide Wai Pocket will fix that! Stay tuned!

For unknown reasons we have recently had a spike in orders for black pockets and packs! Rena just finished an order for a black Terrier Patrol Pack, but decided to cut out two of them when we received the order! So we now have a black Terrier with medium waistbelt ready to ship...our packs are normally built upon receipt of order! Here are some pics of the pack on and off. The Terrier in black makes a great travel/adventure bag or BOB (bug out bag)!

The Park Packs are designed as minimalist day packs that combine simplicity, durability, and comfort! My PALS Park Pack and Rena’s standard Park Pack used for cruising the beach scene for the day in Capitola Village, CA! They both make outstanding minimalist day packs when you don’t need to pack a ton of gear! My PALS Park Pack has our Snivel Pocket mounted on the front for a little extra capacity...the advantage of the PALS version! All Made in the USA!

We have received quite a few Pod orders lately, so thought I would do a quick photo gallery showing our Mini Pods and Maxi Pods! They are very handy for adding capacity to your packs, especially for bulky soft goods! Here are the photos with captions!

Here are the photos I promised in my previous post below showing our soon to be released ZipLid Pocket and our Gus 2 Pocket on the waistbelt of our Terrier Patrol Pack! These photos show the size difference between the two pockets! They both can be opened one handed and offer quick and easy access! I’ve been running a prototype pocket that Rena built, on the waistbelt of my Terrier Patrol Pack! I wanted a waistbelt Pocket that was larger than our Gus 2 Pocket for guys to carry a little more gear! I have a few Kifaru Belt Pockets, but I never took a shine to them, and wanted to build something a little different and more robust! We will be calling this our ZipLid Pocket, and it is 1000d Cordura, lined with 400d Nylon! No hi tech design here, but it is a well built and ...functional pocket aimed primarily as a waistbelt pocket, using 2 rows and 4 channels of PALS! I The dimensions are 7 x 7 3/4 x 3 1/4, it weighs 5.4oz including 2 short Malice Clips, and will be priced at $45.00! It’s kind of deceiving about how much you can actually fit in one! Here are some photos below of the ZipLid Pocket off and on the waistbelt! Rena is making me a Multicam Gus 2 Pocket tomorrow, so I can get photos of both pockets on opposite sides of the waistbelt to give a size reference for each pocket! A Ranger Green Snivel Pocket going out to a customer!

Rena just finished up a PALS Park Pack in Ranger Green for a customer and is now working on his Ranger Green Terrier Patrol Pack...a great combo to have! Here are some quick photos of the pack!

We are in the early stages of planning for expanding our product range in 2021! Have been working on some new pack designs and accessories, but wanted to see if there is enough interest in us building a chest pack! It would be just like my personal Chesty Pack with the CP Harness system that Rena built for me earlier in the year! The only difference is it would be ambidextrous with a wrap around zipper. We would offer it with the CP Harness in 3 sizes...small, medium, and l...arge! For those that have not seen this, I have attached a link to a post I put up awhile ago with all the details and photos! It explains all the advantages over the current crop of chest packs on the market! We had a customer order a Terrier Patrol Pack and a PALS Park Pack, and that got me thinking on how to come up with a simple attachment system that would allow the PALS Park Pack to dock to the Terrier! I’m calling them G-Loops, and they will be an accessory item soon to be added to the website! Cost will be $13.00 for the kit of 4 G-Loops! Our customer who ordered the first combo of Terrier and PALS Park Pack together will get the first G-Loop Kit at no charge! Rena built herself a purse about a week ago and I posted photos up on my FB timeline and said it was a custom one off, and that we weren’t building any at PocketUp! Well, after numerous requests to build them, we have decided to make it happen! This is a preview post about our upcoming Companion that will be available in a purse or a murse version...meaning in girly colors or manly colors! We made a couple changes to the first one by adding a full length slot pocket behin...d the zippered mesh pocket! We also got rid of the SR buckles on the carry strap, and went with a single tension lock buckle with 2 elastic keepers on the carry strap webbing...so much cleaner and easier to adjust! The Companion dimensions are 11 x 7 1/2 x 3 and only weighs 11.6oz! It will be built in 1050d Ballistic Nylon, YKK #10 zippers, and lined with 400d Nylon. There are 3 slot pockets on one side and a zip mesh pocket with slot pocket behind it on the other side! Durability and simplicity were the design parameters! There are no elastic loops, no Velcro, no PALS webbing, no G-hooks, and no Malice Clips...simple yet functional! The price will be $60.00 and the colors offered will be Black with Hot Pink, Aqua Blue, or Purple lining for the purse version! The murse version will be Coyote with Olive interior, Olive with Coyote interior, or Black with Grey interior! All versions are using 1050d Ballistic Nylon for the exterior...either Black, Olive, or Coyote! Rena built a Black with Aqua Blue interior purse, and an Olive with Coyote interior murse and here are some photos of the Companion with captions! See more

Had a great time hiking in the Nevada backcountry with my Terrier Patrol Pack! That is our Gus 3 Pocket on the top lid and our PALS Handy Pocket on the front! Also running our Mini Morph Pockets on the waistbelt carrying 32oz Nalgene bottles! Our Terrier Patrol Pack is an outstanding choice for all day comfort in the field!

Here’s a revisit to our PALS 360 Pack in Multicam! PALS webbing on the front, small top pocket, our flat/bellow side pockets, dual density foam back panel, and wide/padded contoured shoulder straps for outstanding comfort! The inside has a Delrin hoop frame system, full Velcro field on the back wall, and dual internal compression straps to control the load!
