To be the best black belt, you have to train your best as a white belt.
Earning your black belt empowers you with confidence and a warrior spirit to face life’s challenges.
Hello, everyone! This short workout video is for those who need a little jumpstart in their 2021 fitness goal. Don’t waste your time if you are already getting... fit. When I was 240 lbs, mid 40’s and had a hard time finding motivation to train, I started at home keeping it easy and simple. My journey started with waking up and activating my muscles. My biggest obstacle was in my head. I would discourage myself because I reminisced on what I use to be able to do. I was an accomplished and successful martial art competitor. So, I had to humble myself and understand that before I can sprint, I had to run. Before I could run, I had to walk.....and so on. So, don’t worry or judge yourself on how many reps you can or cannot do in an exercise. Just do it. Consistency through time and you will get better. Don’t focus on the destination right now, just start the journey. Be safe and don’t do an exercise if it hurts, find a safe alternative. Can you do 6 rounds of basic exercises with 15 seconds rest in between? Don’t wait til after the holidays, start now. Rd 1- running in place Rd 2- crunches Rd 3- squats Rd 4- shoulder taps Rd 5- lunges Rd 6- knees to chest I hope this helps! MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hello everyone! Welcome to this week’s episode of Pallen’s Bully Tips! This week we’re going to be wrapping up the Emotional Bullying section of our lesson and talk about Self Control and Acceptance! As humans we are all born different! Even if we were born in similar conditions we can still be raised differently and have different values and beliefs that’s why we need to show each other respect and be accepting of those views even though they may not line up with our own. Pe...ople may do or say things that we may not agree with so when that happens it’s important to nip it in the bud and try and tell them that isn’t okay as soon as possible because if you wait, it will seem like it’s okay and they will keep doing it so stop it before it becomes a big problem. Now if something becomes a bigger problem then it’s okay to walk away from the problem and the friend who is being problematic is not worth further drama or strain on your life. It’s important to keep an open mind about different beliefs but know your line and where people should never cross it. Try your best not to be the bully either! It’s very easy to take a weaker person in a friend group and to poke fun at them, but be in control of yourself and be accepting of all. Look out for each other’s best interests and you will have a strong and prosperous friendship. See more
Belt Testing was awesome! It was great seeing families with their kids testing for their next belt. We appreciate that everyone was wearing their mask and was aware of their social distancing. #weloveourcommunity
