From Chaos to Calm - by Matthew S. I am one of those people who have "the fear". The sounds of drills, the tastes, the way my face feels when I leave-these things and more have kept me from the dentist for ten years. Natural or unnatural, knowing that I have had mounting oral issues and I would need to one day face the music, created a massive amount of stress. Recently, I decided it was time to take action and was referred to Dr. Chao. I couldn't have imagined my initial con...sultation going so well. From the moment I arrived the entire staff made me feel comfortable and the amount of time they spent simply listening to my story meant the world to me. Everyone had a genuine interest in learning about my goals, and together we are creating a plan to get there. When I walked out of Dr. Chao's office I felt grateful and a strong sense of relief. Very impressed - by Tessa R. I met Dr. Chao for the first time today after being referred to her regarding a loose dental implant. I was a little nervous, especially as my insurance was not going to cover any procedures. Her entire staff was welcoming, warm, and knowledgeable. I thought I was only going to receive an assessment today, but she was able to go ahead and assess and do the actual procedure, which was awesome, since I don't live in Pleasanton. I was experiencing a very difficult situation regarding an implant crown that left 2 other Prosthodontists at a loss. I was very fearful that I was going to eventually lose dental implant in which I had invested considerable time and money. When Dr. Chao considered my situation she was thoughtful, patient, and meticulous. Her solution resolved all of my issues and provided me with a beautiful PERFECT crown. I cannot overstate my pleasure and satisfaction with the work she did. This review is long overdue as the work was done 18 months ago and I have had no problems. Pleasanton Prosthodontics - by Oscar W. I was delighted to find Dr Maggie Chao's location in Pleasanton (CA). I was previously a patient of hers, when she was at a different clinic, where she installed a crown on one of my front teeth. Her expert care caused one dentist to subsequently praise it "as the best I have seen". I cannot recommend her new clinic and team more highly. Even though I now live in Santa Rosa, I value the high quality of her work enough to take the hour and a half drive to Pleasanton. I am very pleased to have become her patient once again.
