The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, A Mango Shaped Space, or Oh Say Can You Say Favorite thing about your job? Working with children and making connections. I love seeing their personalities and humor come out in everything they do! I love seeing those lightbulb moments. Random fact about you not many people know? I used to work at Disneyland What do you miss most about not having students on campus? Is everything an acceptable answer? :) Seeing their faces, hearing their laughter, and working together in-person. What is something positive about distance learning? The students are gaining many technology skills which will help them in the future. It has taught me (and my students) to be flexible. See more

SPECIAL TIGER STORY ALERT!!! These are pictures of Bryce Aston, current Mrs. Jones Kindergarten student, and his great-grandma, Jeannie Long. Jeannie taught at Pleasant Grove Elementary from about 1970-1983. She taught mostly 2nd grade and is 95 years old. She even still has her school shirt from when she was teaching. These Tigers are adorable! What a special story and special connection to PGES.

Happy Remix Day! Get ready for a fantastic workout. Families, if you want to take a short clip of your student(s) doing the Remix work out and email it to our Apex Team Leader, they will be making a mash up video for the school, ([email protected]). Tomorrow we will be inputting move counts for the students. With distance learning, we decided to input 36 moves for all the students unless the Apex Team hears otherwise from families. If your student does less than 36 moves and you would like to report it, email the Apex Team. Let's have a great time today!

Happy Remix Eve! Make sure to drink water today, get a good night's sleep, and have a good breakfast to prepare for tomorrow. We have one final challenge for our fundraiser.... the principal challenge! Principal Wood will get mummified with silly string if we can reach our goal! Hey Tigers ! We are over halfway through our Apex program with our Remix happening this Thursday. Tonight's challenge is our states challenge! Reach out to friends and family you know in other states and see if they might be willing to pledge you for our Remix event. If we can reach out to 10 different states, Nate The Great and All That Nat will do the Blindfold Food Challenge! Make it a Mighty Monday!
