The Plaza at Santa Monica

In vast, landscaped public terraces, the community might enjoy an extensive urban garden, picnic areas, outdoor events, multi-use lawns, ocean views even an enclosed dog park. Facilities will include ADA compliant public restrooms as well as car, scooter, and bike parking.

Some people have an apartment that would be difficult to have a bike in and a mobility hub gives them a place where they can secure it and have access to it quickly. Cynthia Rose of Santa Monica Spoke on how we can benefit from a mobility hub in the center of #DowntownSantaMonica.

Inspired by the Farmer's Market, The Plaza pulls people together in a project to harvest, sell, and donate fresh produce, right in downtown. And that's just one of the ways The Plaza plans to be part of the thriving future of Santa Monica.

In 2019/20, we collaborated with Community Arts Resources on a series of free events with much success. We also will continue to support Downtown Santa Monica and The Broad Stage in providing public programming resources.
