August 18 & 19: American Folk Heroes Weekend at Playland-Not-at-the-Beach Celebrate the rich tradition of American folklore through its larger-than-life heroes. Look for Paul Bunion and his big blue ox, Babe, Davy Crockett, John Henry and others in our special folk hero treasure hunt! The special events of American folk Heroes Weekend are in addition to all of Playland's regular attractions. Guests pay one low price to enter and can play all day: $10 for children and seniors..., and $15 for general admission. Playland-Not-at-the-Beach is a nonprofit Museum of Fun.
