Families will get to meet Santa and get professionally photographed by the talented Carolina Adame Your ticket includes 15 minutes with Santa while Carolina works her magic, it can be multiple families or friends but keep in mind there is a 15 minute limit. What an overwhelming time! We have yet to get through all of the amazing messages and comments from our last post, because honestly it was too emotional . I didn’t think I would get so emotional, but after reading only a few the ugly crying began! Wow! We are so overwhelmed with gratitude and all of the wonderful messages of love. Thank you!! We need to give ourselves credit for how far we have come, parenting and working during a pandemic has not been easy, but yet here we are 7 months later and we are doing it the best way we can. 2 years ago this month we started our dream of opening Play Collective, a space for children and parents in our community. A space that was beautiful, minimal and intentional, much like the spaces you see in Pasadena and Santa Monica. We had no idea what this journey would entail, we worked so hard, the hardest we ever have, building each piece of furniture and installing everything ourselves. The people we have met have been worth the adventure! Seeing all the parents and c...hildren weekly for almost 2 years now has been so heart fulfilling, seeing the growth in each child, the happiness, smiles and tears because they didn’t want to leave. Business was thriving at the beginning of this year, in one year through word of mouth we were reaching our sales goals and finally booked every week! Well then the pandemic hit and everything changed, we had to close for a few months and now 7 months later, we still cannot open to capacity, have parties or big events, our space looks a lot different without our community and it is something we cannot continue to sustain. How many moms worry about everything?! I think once you become a mom the worry is all consuming.
