Happy April! We're so excited to showcase more student work and alumni features this month from our talented community. Our first feature of the month for 3D Thursdays is PCSD 3D Modeling student Steven Rose's (@kippertd) The Black Ops Zombie’s Thundergun model. The Thundergun model was reimagined for current-generation gaming and this high poly model intended for use in a first-person shooter. I’ve always loved playing video games with unique technology so the Thundergun... from Black Ops Zombies was a perfect choice of reference! I modeled this in Maya by studying existing concepts and other source materials from the game. It was then textured in Substance Painter and rendered with Marmoset :)" We're so proud of your work and looking forward to seeing more of your projects in the program and your future career. Got a cool project that you want to be featured? Tag us Platt College San Diego and add the hashtag #plattcollegesandiego for a chance to be featured on our social media pages!
