Grand reopening coming soon

The Pirates Cove 04.11.2020

Dear Instagram, The Pirates Cove has been a fixture at shoreline village since 1992 providing Long Beach souvenirs to all those who live or visit. Our business thrives on tourism and with no cruises, no conventions and no travel happening, our business is always one of the first to feel the effects. Most places have been told to either turn off their lights or limit the clientele. Gift shops are a dying breed and we are nowhere near ending this journey so we ask everyone to ...continue to support small business. We know most people have very few options right now and times are shaky but come on down to shoreline village. Maybe grab an ice cream at @thefunnelhouse or grab some candy at @sugardaddiessweetshoppe or even order to go at one of the great family owned restaurants like @parkerslighthouse , the point is to come on down, take a deep breath and relax. In times like these all small business need to come together and help each other succeed. Shoreline village has multiple sanitation stations to prevent spread of germs. We are all continuously cleaning our stores. The safety and health of the public is our utmost importance but we also want to all stay in business for another 30 years. One more thing, don’t forget to visit us at the pirates cove, lots of Long Beach themed souvenirs. We also have a pretty good playlist going at all times. #smallbusiness See more

TODAY IS THE DAYGet ready to let the good times roll! Every year Shoreline Village picks a local charity to be the benefactor of our event. Today's event ...will benefit the Long Beach Boy Scouts of America. Please stop by their booth near the grand stands to pick up your Mardi Gras hats, masks and beads. 100% of the proceeds go directly to this local charitable group! We anticipate large crowds and cool weather so please plan accordingly. Please save our event map (from prior post) to your phone to help you with your merry making today We strongly recommend a ride share service, public transportation or our FREE bike valet for your bicycle. We are located on the free Passport bus route and are located near the Blue Line train. During Mardi Gras, bikes are NOT allowed to be ridden, parked or locked on the boardwalk inside Shoreline Village. Any bike parked in the this area and not in the bike valet will be removed by Security. If you do drive please carpool and consider the traffic in the area when planning your day. Parking is available at either: 1st choice Pike Parking Garage, 65 South Cedar Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802 Or 2nd choice Aquarium Parking/Queensway Bay Garage, 99 Aquarium Way, Long Self-Park 2.5 to 4 hours $8-$9 4 to 5 hours $12 5 to 6 hours $15 6 to 24 hours $16 If these locations sell out there is also paid public parking structures near Pine Avenue at 3rd, 4th and 5th streets For FULL COMPLETE DETAILS or answers to your questions click on our event page then refer to the "about" tab or view our past posts by clicking on the "discussion' tab on the event page (due to our heavy workload today your questions here may not be addressed) SEE YOU SOON!
