Hey there Pinto players Hole 4 toward hole 5 is still lake flooded as well as huge tree that has fallen on 17 tee pad, and more rain coming So unfortunately the meadow holes can't be played unless ya want to wade across the road about 50 ft I wouldn't suggest it because that waters allittle Funkey . This months monthly will be canceled as well. Also we are suspending bag tags until beginning of april, however we will be having the 4 th. annual " Gotta Go Gotta Mow" ... pinto maintanence fundraiser tourney the Saturday the 25 th of March which coincides with our monthly. More info will come later after we figure out the details. This is a have fun tourney with a fun raffle and helps raise money for maintenance costs. See more

I believe i got 3 Wasps nest , 2 nests on hole 3 down by the path just in case be very very careful if you throw your disc past the path toward hole 4, also on hole 16 there was one about 200 feet down the road a few feet off to the right, youll probably see two plastic bottles that i used to get em,, be carefull just in case... TODAY BAG TAGS SUNDAY SEPT 18th. COME ON OUT- Ace pot is up to 119$. also a Note to remember starting on Monday Sept 19th, ( yep thats tommoro), Hole one will be in construction and out of play, as the county is going to create a water catch right down in the middle, so the bad news is we will not be able to play hole one until it is complete, the good news is its possible we can still use the long pin position after completion as it will be above the pond all the trees down ...there will be out so that hole could be a lay up and a shot across the pond, pretty cool i think. When the county is done with the project i will put in another position to the left making a really easy par 3, we will lose the short position in the middle as that will be covered with water. We will play hole one tommoro yehh.. in the future as hole one is being worked on,, we will still continue bag tags and Monthlys, starting on hole 2 and to still get in 18 holes we are going to break up the long hole 11, with 2 par 4's, shooting from the tee box to the daisy chains basket ( par 4) , and about 50 feet up to the left by ob line i will make a temp tee spot , to shoot for the next hole down to 11 longs basket..Par 4 as well. Last Monday Pinto Bag Tags Tomorrow check in 5 Start 5:30 sharp After this Monday we will move the Pinto bag tags to Sunday starting at 10 am check in 9:30 am. The month schedules will go as followed first 3 Sunday's will be Bag tags and the 4 th Saturday will remain being the Monthly, ( no 4 th Sunday play ).... I think this schedule is going to work in the long run for everyone. Also there is no shack to conflict with selling and trading discs so bring What ya want to trade and sell. Bag Tags today!! , Monday July 11th. I got the tags. Check in at 5 pm , start at 5:30 pm Sharp! All holes will be played 11 will be to the short pin as a par 4 and 14,16 and 18 will be played at the Daisy Chain tee pads which will be closer to the hole played as par 3,s, there will be a orange line across the road indicating where to tee off, this will allow us a shorter game that will end at a reasonable time. WE NEED ALL HANDS ON DECK! THIS MEANS YOU! The time has now come to show up in overwhelming numbers. Bring friends. Bring family. Come from Monterey and San Jose. This is important. We want over 200 disc golfers to show up at the SCCPRC meeting on Monday at 7PM at the Simkins Swim Center 979 17th Ave (Soquel exit from Hwy 1).

1st Annual Santa Cruz County Amateur Disc Golf Championships, August 11 at Pinto Lake...

2011 PRO WORLDS letters on hole 11, as seen by satellite...

DeLaveaga Ladies League begins Saturday. Ladies-only singles play. There is no cost to join! Saturday 15 Oct is the first date for ladies league this year, which ends on 19 Nov (6 weeks total). This is a league, with points earned each Saturday. Prizes will be offered at the end of the season for most points. Ladies who show up will also receive raffle tickets (just for showing up); the raffle will be held at the end of the season. This is a strictly 9AM-Noon league, designed for busy ladies. Play begins at 9AM, and ends at Noon, regardless of how many holes are finished.

There will be a barbeque and round of disc golf at Pinto Lake on Sunday (tomorrow) in remembrance of the spirit of Tim Allen. Meet at tee #1 around noon. Unfortunately, his family will not be able to join us there yet, but his daughter Nikkol will be visiting this coming week.

We're sad to report that Tim Allen passed away at the course he loved. Tim was a hard-working volunteer, who loved taking part in the tough process of building the course, and loved to see other players enjoy the results. If you can get out there and feel the wonderful vibe of Pinto Lake, you'll be in harmony with his spirit.
